THE FINGER LAKES ARABIAN HORSE ASSOCIATION
2008 YEAR-END AWARDS
 |
Show season is rapidly
approaching and it is time to again sign up for FLAHA’s
Year End Award Program.

As mentioned last year, our participation has been
dwindling over the past few years and so I would like to
make an appeal to ALL of our membership to help us make
this year one of the best in a long time.

Much time, effort and money goes into the program and to
the year-end awards celebration. If we find that the
membership does not really desire a year-end awards
program, then perhaps our efforts and resources would be
better spent in another direction. We constantly urge
feed back from our membership. It is your club and your
suggestions are very important to the success of our
club.

We offer a wide variety of classes, both in A rated
shows, the open shows and 4H shows. Even if you do not
have a horse to sign up for our program, I am sure you
know of someone who does show in one of the above
categories, so please, urge them to join. We need your
help to make the program a success.

Our next year-end celebration is planned for Saturday,
the 17th of January, 2009 at the Inn on the Lake,
Canandaigua, NY. A great time was had this year by all
who attended, so be sure to mark your calendar.

We look forward to receiving your entries – remember if
you sign up for the Arabian - Open Competition Category
(#28), All Breeds – Open Competition (#29) or All Breeds
- 4H Shows (#30), you only need to be an Associate
Member.

Our very best luck during the upcoming show season –
Have a great show year and be sure you or your friend’s
horse is a part of our High Score Program!!!!!!!

Sincerely,
Dee Frey
